Abroad Wedding Bouquet — What To Do After The Wedding
If you're getting married abroad and would still love to preserve your wedding flowers once you're back in the UK — it's absolutely possible, and more common than you might think. With a little planning, your bouquet can travel this journey too and be transformed into a keepsake you'll treasure forever. Please note — it does require a little effort from you to ensure your flowers are handled and transported safely, so they arrive in the best possible condition for preservation.
To give your flowers the very best chance, your preservation slot must be booked (deposit paid) before your wedding, and your Destination Wedding Flower Drying Kit ordered in advance so it's ready to travel with you.
What is included:
• Easy step-by-step instructions
• Professional silica gel flower drying crystals
• Specialist preservation materials
• Protective packaging designed for travel
How it works:
• Book your preservation slot with me before your wedding date
• Order your kit (at least 2 weeks before you travel)
• Follow the simple instructions after your ceremony, while still abroad
• Carefully pack them and bring safely back to the UK
Once you're home, simply let me know how long your flowers have been drying, and I'll guide you through the next steps for posting them to my studio for their final transformation into your keepsake.
The kit weighs approx 3 kg, and you'll just need to bring scissors and sellotape with you in your suitcase.
If you're flying home straight after your wedding, do get in touch beforehand — I'll be happy to advise on the best and safest way to transport your bouquet back to the UK, even if you're not purchasing the silica drying kit.
