Frequently Asked Questions

Preserving Your FLowers

From "I do" to Keepsake: How it works

1. Please feel free to contact me if you are unsure of what process of preserving flowers is.

2. Let me know what flowers are going to be in your bridal bouquet.

3. Pay deposit to secure your slot. That would be your wedding date.

4. Choose a product(s). Note, you can change your mind at any point before your flowers arrive to me.

5. Drop off or send me your flowers straight after your wedding, as soon as you can. Use Royal Mail Next Day trackable service. Packing instructions will be provided.

I can collect locally whenever possible, or you can drop them off to me.

6. Pay outstanding balance.

7. Your keepsake is being taken care of. I will be updating you on stage, but please be patient. Resin can not be rushed.

8. As soon as your keepsake is ready, I will arrange shipping or will deliver myself locally, if I can. I am based in Hampshire.

Do you have minimum order requirement?

I've decided to remove the minimum order requirement!

Just a little note: the smaller items (add-ons) are best suited for tiny flowers, greenery, or petals from bigger blooms. To make sure your keepsake reflects the full beauty of your bouquet, I recommend adding a larger piece.

Do you work internationally?

I work exclusively with brides whose weddings take place in the United Kingdom.

This ensures I can safely receive your flowers and deliver your keepsake on time.

If you reserve your spot and your wedding takes place outside the UK, please kindly note that I cannot guarantee the quality of the flowers after travel. Having said that, I recently brought back a bridal bouquet from a friend's wedding in Europe and was able to preserve it beautifully. It can be done, you just need to be aware that I need flowers to be as fresh as possible can.

There's also the option of contacting your florist afterwards to replace any flowers that may not survive the journey home. I'm always happy to work with you to find the best solution.

Can you use already dried or artificial flowers?

Absolutely! You would still need to book a date and pay deposit

Turnaround times

Flower Preservation is a complex and delicate process. Please expect your order to be fulfilled within 6-9 months (potentially longer in busy periods) from the date I receive your final payment. I kindly ask that you consider this timeframe before contacting me to follow up on your order. Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond my control, this timeframe may be extended slightly. Please don't expect to have your piece back by a specific deadline or ask for a timescale.

I can reassure you that I will be updating you on every stage and will make your piece as soon as I possibly can!

Do you accept returns or offer refunds?

Custom made-to-order, deposit and gift cards are non-refundable.

For more information, please read T&S or contact me directly.

Are there any flowers you cannot preserve?

Yes. While many flowers preserve beautifully, there are some types I'm unable to accept, as well as others that may not preserve as well as expected.

I cannot preserve anthuriums, as their waxy surface prevents proper drying. I'm also unable to work with succulents or cactus-type plants, as they are full of water — these tend to shrivel during the drying process and do not retain their shape or colour.

In addition, some flowers can be more challenging and may not preserve perfectly. These include very delicate white flowers, fluffy or loosely petalled roses, certain orchids, and calla lilies. While preservation may still be possible in some cases, these flowers can lose colour, become translucent, or change form during drying.

I'm always happy to review your bouquet in advance and advise honestly on what will preserve best, so you know exactly what to expect before proceeding

Can you add non-floral items to the preservation?

Absolutely. I can include meaningful keepsakes such as pins, ribbons, charms, jewellery, hair, or fur. If there's something special you'd like to add, just let me know or send it along with your flowers and we'll incorporate it into the final piece.
